Frequently asked questions about coffee orders

How to order
Our sales team can guide you through the coffee purchasing process, whether for immediate orders currently available in our warehouses, contracts for specific periods for larger quantities of certain crops, or pre-orders for coffees that have not yet arrived. We can also provide recommendations tailored to your needs, taking into account coffee types, aromas and flavors, certifications, traceability data, prices, and quantities required. We would also be happy to discuss the possibility of participating in the World Coffee Research fund, should you wish to do so.
We accept orders by phone at (0504513017) or by email, either by contacting your sales representative directly or by sending a message to: kafa@marabih.com
Price information and quantities available from our current stock are also available by phone or email.
When will my order be shipped?
We process and ship orders within two business days of the order date. After completing the payment process, you will see an order receipt confirming that your order is being processed. Once the order leaves our warehouse, the shipping company will send you tracking information, which serves as final confirmation of shipment.
If you do not receive an email with your order details, please check the "My Account" page to ensure that the order was placed successfully.
Payment and Terms

We require payment in advance for coffee orders of at least three orders, after which we are happy to discuss the possibility of establishing credit terms. We accept payment by debit or credit card, check, bank transfer, and electronic funds transfer.

Storage and Shipping
We own our warehouse in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Spot inventory is shipped exclusively from this warehouse (with the possibility of transferring contracted coffee to another warehouse to facilitate your pickup). Owning this warehouse and employing our own team allows us to offer the highest standards of storage and packaging compared to any other company in the industry, as well as the ability to ship orders on the same day if they are placed before 12 noon Saudi time.

Shipping can be arranged to your doorstep from anywhere in our warehouse, and we take great pride in the precision and attention to detail that our warehouse team demonstrates with your order every time.

Storage can also be negotiated for larger contracts or longer periods with us – we can store quantities for up to four months with the option of periodic release at your convenience.
I tried the coffee you sent me a month ago, and now I'm out. How can I buy more?
- All coffee is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend acting quickly when sampling our products. Since we offer a carefully selected range of seasonal green coffee, quantities may sell out quickly.

- If the amount of coffee is limited, we may stop offering samples so that you do not try coffee that is not available for purchase.

Other frequently asked questions about shipping.

What is the minimum order size that can be shipped?
There is no minimum order: we are just as happy to ship one bag to you as we are to ship 100 bags. (Please note that shipping costs are more economical for orders shipped on a full pallet).
Will Kafa arrange shipping to my location?

Yes! We have competitive rates with many national and international shipping companies, and we can work with you to ensure you get the delivery service you need.

Can I arrange shipping myself?
Absolutely! Just let your sales rep know you want to pick your own carrier when you place your order, and share a copy of the bill of lading (BOL) and the carrier's contact info with us.
Note: Orders are accepted at our warehouse from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saudi Arabia time.
What should I do when I receive the order?

Before signing for any coffee shipment, carefully inspect the shipment and the bags it contains. If you notice any damage or any discrepancy between what was delivered and what is listed on the delivery order, do not sign the driver's documents. Simply send an email to your sales representative or to kafa@marabih.com to request assistance. When in doubt, take a photo of the damage as soon as possible.

  • Check the following when you receive your shipment:
  • Broken bags or spilled grains
  • Unwrapped pallets or damage to packaging/strapping
  • Broken pallets
  • Missing bags — make sure they are counted and matched before the driver leaves

In addition, please be aware that additional services or extras provided by the driver may result in additional charges. Be sure to communicate with the driver and review the documents you sign to ensure they only include extras that you have authorized.
What should I do if there is damage or another problem with my shipment?

We are committed to providing comprehensive customer service, and we want you to be completely satisfied with the coffee you receive from us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding an order you have received, please do not hesitate to contact us by email: kafa@marabih.com or by phone: (0504513017), and we will do our best to rectify any issues.

How should I store green coffee?
Coffee needs a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and areas exposed to water, dirt, rodents, or insects (preferably away from the ground and areas where food is prepared or stored). Ideally, a dedicated warehouse or storage space with climate control at 15–21°C (60–70°F) and 50–60% humidity is preferable, but we recognize that this may not be possible for many small coffee roasters.
If your resources are limited, we recommend the following:

  • Store coffee in GrainPro bags and seal the bag tightly between uses.
  • Store coffee in the coolest suitable area (not too cold) in your facility, away from direct sunlight and anything that affects air humidity, such as dishwashers, steam radiators, dehumidifiers, etc.
  • If you have multiple bags contracted, consider allowing your importer to hold them in storage for several months rather than receiving the entire quantity at once.
How long can I store green coffee?

Coffee varieties differ in how well they withstand deterioration over time. Some varieties hold up well during storage, while others deteriorate more quickly. The general rule is “fresh is always best,” and we recommend using green beans within 6 months of receipt, although storage for up to a year is acceptable in most cases.
